Customer Spotlight: Coldwater Café and Catering

Jenny Swigart
General Manager

Question: How do you describe what Coldwater Café does?
Answer: We are a family owned restaurant in Tipp City, Ohio. Originally owned by Betty Peachey and opened in 1994, Nick Hoover (her son) is now the sole owner. The menu offers both lunch and dinner (respectively) with a contemporary American feel, and although it’s one page, we have something for everyone.

Q: What is your relationship with Miller’s Textile (please include products & services you use)?
A: We started using Miller’s over four years ago (time flies!) and we initially only ordered brown linen napkins for our guest tables and Chef coats for our kitchen staff. We have expanded our order to include ivory linens (for special in house occasions and our banquet space), white linens (catering events), black linens (for wine tastings), kitchen aprons, and kitchen towels with the orange stripe for our back of house staff.

Q: Is there a special anecdote, or story about your experience with Miller’s that exemplifies your relationship?
A: Not a special story, but one thing I have always appreciated is the customer communication with us. When we first started, Mike was our rep and he was always very easy to get hold of and would respond quickly. When he moved on to a new position at Miller’s, the ball was not dropped and the transition went as smooth as can be! Thank you Kyle, for being available when needed!

Q: How does working with Miller’s make your company better?
A: It makes work life easier knowing that our Friday deliveries will always be here around the same time. Ron is always helpful as well when bringing in the deliveries! Thanks Ron!
