Miller’s Textile is proud to be a part of the Textile Rental Industry and the industry efforts to improve upon our already impressive record of conservation and reuse history. We value all efforts to reuse and recycle our valuable natural resources, and we are constantly working to promote “Green” initiatives within our organization.
Through the very nature of our business, the concept of reuse of our products and merchandise by our customers is creating savings of our natural resources. Then through our use of technology and professional management practices, we are able to offer greater economies of scale and better resource management capabilities than a single end user could.
Our greater efficiencies produce a lower use of natural resources per pound of laundry than an in-home laundry or a customer on-premise laundry facility. Examples of such efficiencies and savings are:
- Reduction of kilowatt hours by: 195,000 hours annually
- Reduction of *CO2 emissions by: 309,000 lbs. annually or the equivalent of 25.7 cars removed from the road annually
- Addition of the equivalent of 31.9 acres of forest area annually
- Saving 9 million gallons of fresh water annually
